The group will meet at Governor Dodge State Park and spend 4.5 hours hiking, journaling, practicing mindfulness and more, all while in community with other participants and co-facilitators. This hike will follow the Lost Canyon Trail for approximately 3 miles round-trip. While there, participants will learn and practice a variety of grounding techniques, activities to deepen connection to nature, and tools to identify, regulate, and communicate emotions. Participants should bring 2 liters of water, snacks, a journal, and a backpack to carry these items. Closed-toed shoes are required.
