The group will meet at Mirror Lake State Park boat launch and spend 7.5 hours paddling, hiking, journaling, practicing mindfulness and more, all while in community with other participants and co-facilitators. This experience will take participants throughout Mirror Lake, with plenty of breaks to rest our bodies, eat lunch, and connect with the land. Whether on the water or on land, participants will learn and practice a variety of grounding techniques, engage in activities to deepen connection to nature, and tools to identify, regulate, and communicate emotions.
Participants should bring at least 2 liters of water, lunch, snacks, a journal, and a backpack to carry these items. Closed-toed shoes are required. Boats, PFDs, and paddles will be provided. Some paddling experience recommended, but not required.
Additional details will be shared upon registration for this event.
